Brock Storrusten is taking on a new role as WithersRavenel’s Chief Growth Officer for our Private Sector.
Brock will oversee private sector services relating to land planning, land development, landscape architecture, geomatics, construction administration, and transportation services. His guidance will drive our Private Sector growth strategy, implementation and continuous improvement efforts in client service and project delivery.
Brock’s knowledge of residential and commercial development along with his many years of municipal experience will provide the foundation for our long-term vision of balanced public-private work and collaboration between all of our business sectors. His broad-based experience in engineering, planning and problem-solving positions him as a leader who recognizes opportunities and views growth holistically. Brock enjoys collaborating with clients and our teams to create inspirational visions for the future and turn concepts into concrete.
Brock has worked for WithersRavenel since 2016. He has served on the Town of Cary’s Planning & Zoning Board and is currently serving on the Town of Cary’s Economic Development Committee. He is also a board member of the Triangle Community Coalition, Vice Chair of the NC-ACEC Legislative Committee, and Treasurer for the WakeSTEM Early College High School Business Advisory Board.
Brock is a licensed Professional Engineer with almost 30 years of experience. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University.
