WithersRavenel welcomes Mike Davis to our Charlotte office as the firm’s newest Client Experience Manager.
Mike’s background includes more than 25 years of experience working in single-family residential land development, helping build many communities in the greater Charlotte area and South Carolina. From land acquisition through build-out, Mike has handled all aspects of the process. He understands the intricacies of the complex real estate and development marketplaces, including budgets, entitlements, permitting, scheduling, engineering, and construction.
Mike brings his well-developed sense of project ownership and accountability to a Client Experience Management role at WithersRavenel. In this position, Mike will serve as a primary conduit between our clients and the wealth of services WithersRavenel can bring to bear on land development projects in the Charlotte market.
Our private sector partners will benefit not only from his development experience but also from Mike’s years of specific work in the Charlotte market. He knows what clients need because he has spent years in the client’s seat. He also understands the region and has experience building and managing successful teams that deliver development results.
“This is an amazing opportunity to join such a well-respected company as WithersRavenel,” Mike said. “I learned many years ago in construction/land development that ‘the devil is in the details,’ and my goal for clients is to prevent obstacles from impacting their projects.
“Charlotte is a fantastic city and I’m looking forward to helping the WithersRavenel team grow its Charlotte office.”
Educated at Central Piedmont Community College and East Carolina University, Mike is a Licensed North Carolina General Contractor. Mike and his wife Melissa enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, and spending time with their children and grandchildren. He serves as an Xtreme Hike Coach for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which holds two Xtreme Hikes each year. These fundraising hikes are 30.1 miles in a single day on the Appalachian Trail.
