WithersRavenel welcomes Kyle Freehart, PE, as our new Director of Mixed-Use Development in our Site + Civil Department.
Kyle’s background includes more than a decade of private sector experience in engineering, analysis, project management, and leadership roles in North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts. He has been the driving force behind numerous large-scale projects while applying his technical expertise in structural engineering, land development, and site civil design.
His proven ability to cultivate, manage, and collaborate with national teams and clients to facilitate solutions will allow WithersRavenel’s projects to thrive. A clear communicator, Kyle has a strong track record of leading teams that hit budgets and deadlines while producing project deliverables catered to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
“Throughout my journey, I’ve seamlessly merged engineering prowess with impactful leadership and dedication to both the client and my team’s successes,” Kyle said. “Upon my return to North Carolina, I look forward to setting down roots and growing with the brilliant and visionary leadership that will propel WithersRavenel’s projects and mixed-use teams to unparalleled heights.”
Kyle has a master’s degree in Structural Engineering from North Carolina State University and a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
In his personal life, Kyle enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is also an enthusiastic traveler, actively seeking out new destinations, and immersing himself in different cultures to gain a broader perspective on the world. As of late, his hobbies have been golf, chess, pottery, and pickleball.
