Growth-focused: WithersRavenel Hires Innovation Services Director
As technology and cutting-edge design play a greater role in engineering and consulting, WithersRavenel has hired a proven visionary to lead the company’s continuous efforts.
Chuck Wright, GISP, is WR’s first Innovation Services Director. He believes innovation can be accomplished by bridging diverse groups to create new ideas and opportunities.
His background includes a wide spectrum of activities including running a startup software company from founding to acquisition, growing and scaling a portfolio of successful products, and writing code. Additionally, Chuck is a subject matter expert in GIS and local government. Most importantly, he succeeds at bringing teams together to focus and accomplish their mission.
His hiring is a homecoming. Chuck worked for WithersRavenel from 2003-2009 as Lead IT Developer, at which point Mobile311, LCC was spun out to provide local governments with an easy to use GIS and mobile-centric work order management system. Mobile311, LCC was acquired by Brightly Software (formerly Dude Solutions) in 2015, where Chuck served as Senior Product Manager across multiple product lines.
Chuck graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, Sandhills Community College, and UNC-Chapel Hill.
WithersRavenel congratulates Chuck on his new position! If you are looking for an innovative problem-solver, contact Chuck at (919) 238-0322 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
