Lars Hagen has taken on new responsibilities as WithersRavenel’s Director of Operations, Public Sector.
As Vice President and Acting Director of Stormwater, Lars already serves a vital role leading our team of stormwater engineers as they complete projects for public and private clients across the state. His new position will utilize his leadership skills and his considerable experience with clients and projects.
“I take WithersRavenel’s culture of continuous improvement to heart,” Hagen said. “It drives us to constantly look to refine our project delivery methods, our client experience approach and to find new ways to support our clients, whether it be through planning, consultation, funding advice, or project execution.”
Lars has played a lead role in our company’s expansion of its geographic footprint, with stormwater projects and clients from the mountains to the coast. His hard work helped grow our public service portfolio in stormwater, with projects focused on master plans, public infrastructure, dams, stormwater enterprise funds, and MS4 consultation and advisory services.
Now, Lars will apply those skills and strategies to all of our company’s public sector services including: water, wastewater, environmental, stormwater, site development, survey, GIS, transportation, parks & recreation, and funding & asset management. Lars is ready and prepared to help public clients achieve their goals.
Lars has worked for WithersRavenel since 2015. A Professional Engineer with almost 20 years of experience, Lars is a member of the American Public Works Association and the Stormwater Association of North Carolina. Lars has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.
Please join us in congratulating Lars!
