The American Public Works Association (APWA) has kicked off National Public Works Week, celebrating the dedication and hard work of public works professionals across the US and Canada.
APWA’s 32,000 members, who work in small and large communities, have been marking this week since 1960.
The theme for 2024 is “Advancing Quality of Life for All,” a goal that we at WithersRavenel wholeheartedly endorse and strive for daily by working with local municipalities on a variety of projects. Many of our employee-owners have been on the “other side,” spending decades as public works professionals, helping communities they worked in to achieve equity in the quality of life. At WithersRavenel, they sustain that sentiment.
Our team of engineers, planners, designers, surveyors, environmental experts, funding specialists, and other professionals works with public clients to fulfill their respective community goals by providing the quality of deliverables that often exceed the expectations of the end-user – the residents of those communities.
Be it a parks plan, a pavement condition survey, a water treatment plant, or a stormwater control measure, the common strand that runs through all WithersRavenel projects is the focus on advancing quality of life for all.
