Wilmington staff volunteer for WOW event at Paws for People
Several employees from WithersRavenel’s Wilmington office rolled up their sleeves Saturday for the annual Work on Wilmington (WOW) volunteer event.
The WR group’s project site was at the nonprofit Paws for People (P4P). WithersRavenel employees and P4P volunteers repaired perimeter fencing and completed extensive landscaping projects around the property.
WOW is planned and conducted each year by the current Leadership Wilmington class, a program of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Don Mizelle is a member of this year’s Leadership Wilmington class.
In addition to a rewarding day working with P4P volunteers on the nonprofit site, WithersRavenel employees also got to meet puppies after the day’s tasks were finished. Click here for a photo gallery from the WOW event at Paws for People.
