WithersRavenel congratulates Courtney Landoll, PLA, ASLA, on her promotion to Practice Area Lead for Design + Planning. With over 20 years of landscape architectural experience, Courtney has led and implemented complex, multidisciplinary projects across the United States, all while helping clients meet demanding schedules and budgetary constraints.
Her extensive portfolio includes urban healthcare, office, mixed-use developments, parks, streetscapes, and campus design projects. With a foundation in the creative arts and expertise in design-build projects, Courtney excels at creating designs that thoughtfully balance materials and textures, delivering engaging and functional site experiences that are cost-effective and easy to maintain.
In her new role, Courtney will focus on expanding and strengthening the Design + Planning practice at WithersRavenel. She is committed to fostering collaboration, enhancing client and employee experiences, and driving innovative, creative design solutions.
“My vision is to focus on the multidisciplinary synergy between planning, landscape architecture, and engineering while fostering our core values and the professional growth of our team members,” she said. “Our goal will be to expand upon our base of trusted clients while ensuring the solutions we provide are both creative and deeply rooted in community needs.”
Courtney holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) degree from Virginia Tech. She has also demonstrated exceptional leadership within the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), having served on its National Nominating Committee and as a past President of the North Carolina Chapter of ASLA.
