The annual Healthiest Employers awards program has recognized WithersRavenel as the healthiest small business in the Triad. Our first-place honor comes after a third-place finish in 2023 and stands aside our selection as a Healthiest Employer winner in the Triangle for companies with 100-499 employees.
Our singular Thrive program was cited as a determining factor. Its 15-minute micro-training sessions are available both live and as a recording. The sessions focus on physical, mental, emotional, financial, and social well-being, with content based on feedback from a WithersRavenel employee committee and internal surveys. The Thrive committee aims to provide useful information while also promoting social connections among employees.
Additionally, our hybrid work environment and flexible scheduling options were also cited by Healthiest Employers. Started prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, WithersRavenel’s flexibility supports worker health by allowing them to balance work and home life.
Healthiest Employers is an awards program that salutes people-first organizations taking a more proactive approach to employee health. Categories evaluated for the competition include Culture and Leadership Commitment, Foundational Components, Strategic Planning, Communications and Marketing, Programming and Interventions, and Reporting and Analytics.
