WithersRavenel welcomes Joseph Turner, PE, as the new Director of Utilities for our expanding Charlotte office.
Joseph will be leading our water and wastewater engineering teams as they serve clients throughout the Charlotte region. Joe’s background includes more than 20 years in engineering, and project management on a broad range of civil, water and wastewater projects.
He has collaborated with clients, contractors and colleagues to deliver traditional capital projects, state and federally funded improvements, as well as numerous design-build projects.
His commitment to serving communities through infrastructure improvements will help our firm deliver successful projects while continuing to provide a seamless client experience.
“I strongly believe we best serve our communities with safe, effective, and impactful project delivery,” Joe said. “Our end goal is to enable our clients to deliver quality services to their customers and communities.”
Joe is a licensed professional engineer in North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware, and Virginia. He has a Master of Business Administration from Averett University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion. His passion for serving others came through his wartime experiences while serving in an engineering unit as a U.S. Marine in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Joe enjoys family time, trout fishing, backpacking, and Brazilian jiu jitsu training in his free time.
