Experienced planner Tobe Holmes joins WithersRavenel Charlotte office
WithersRavenel’s Business Development team welcomes an experienced urban planning and development professional with more than a decade of experience in the Queen City to our growing Charlotte office.
Tobe Holmes, AICP, has transitioned to a new role as a Business Development representative with a focus on private development clients in the greater Charlotte region. Before joining WithersRavenel, Tobe served as the Vice President of Economic Development and the Interim Executive Director of University City Partners. In this position, he led all aspects of the organization, which was focused on continuing to uplift the quickly-developing University City community around UNC Charlotte. Before that, Tobe worked with Charlotte Center City Partners, where his planning and management skills were put to use in the South End.
With a bounty of experience in site development, project management, and land-use planning in the Charlotte area, Tobe will help clients navigate today’s development marketplace and challenges as WithersRavenel continues to expand its reach in Charlotte and the region.
“I am thrilled to contribute my experience in the Charlotte region to a firm with such a strong reputation,” Tobe said. “WithersRavenel is poised to make a mark in the Queen City thanks to a deep bench of employee-owners focused on delivering for our clients.”
Tobe has a Master of City and Regional Planning degree from Clemson University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina. He serves on the board of Nourish Up (formerly Loaves and Fishes / Friendship Trays), a nonprofit fighting hunger in the Charlotte area. Tobe and his wife, Monica, have two young daughters.
Please join us in congratulating Tobe Holmes on his new role at WithersRavenel! Do you want to put Tobe and our Charlotte team to work on your next project? Contact him at 843-345-7709 or email@example.com.
