WithersRavenel welcomes Jon Mills as the company’s first Strategic Sales Executive in our growing Innovation division.
Jon brings more than a decade of sales experience, with most of that time spent growing the government go-to-market at Brightly (formerly Dude Solutions). As he rose in the ranks from an account executive to strategic sales executive, Jon helped the company grow to more than $1 billion valuation while leading governments in attaining asset management success.
With sales and client experience in asset management, capital planning, permitting and community development for local government organizations, Jon’s background will help WithersRavenel and its clients chart a bright future with innovative products and strategies. His familiarity with our teaming partner Brightly and its software solutions means he can advise clients on the best asset management tools and how they can be tailored to specific community needs.

Jon earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurship from UNC Chapel Hill. He lives on a small farm with his wife and three children. Jon has a passion for a worldwide Christian ministry that he and some friends began in 2021. He enjoys time with his family, playing soccer, farming, cars, writing and learning.
