WithersRavenel is growing its footprint in the Charlotte area, with the opening of a survey field office. This new location, in addition to our primary location at 201 South Tryon Street, opened in July to provide geomatics services.
The new space, at 8100 Tower Point Drive, Charlotte NC 28227, affords easier access to clients looking to avoid traffic at the Uptown location. While the location started with a focus on geomatics, team members from other disciplines in the Charlotte area work out of this office. They often end up meeting clients.
According to Geomatics Project Manager Bryan Lackey, PLS, more staff and services will fill this office. The staff can meet subsurface utility engineering (SUE) needs of clients in the area. They also offer remote sensing capabilities. Both those services are readily available currently through our Asheville, Greensboro, and Cary locations.
“We have a conventional field crew based out of this office that can provide boundary/ALTA, topo, route surveys, construction staking, and more,” Bryan said. “Our staff will utilize crews from our other offices as well if something is needed in a quicker turnaround time. We can and will respond to inquiries in no more than a day.”
As WithersRavenel continues to build its client experience for the greater Charlotte region, Bryan looks forward to adding additional conventional survey crews and expanded geomatics services to the local area.
