In October, as we celebrate National Community Planning Month, WithersRavenel salutes the role that our planners play in helping communities thrive. We work with communities to shape their present and future by developing actionable plans. These plans bring collective priorities and values to life.
Our community planning team utilizes the full multidisciplinary expertise of the company. This includes planners, landscape architects, and parks and recreation professionals. We also incorporate funding analysts, economic development specialists, policy drafting professionals, and civil engineers. Our team provides comprehensive and land use plans, CAMA land use plans, parks and recreation system plans, development ordinances, and other services.
We also focus deliberately on public engagement to ensure community voices are an integral part of the planning process. From visioning to adoption, we consider how each community functions for its residents, businesses, and constituents. We then find ways to achieve critical local goals.
