WithersRavenel welcomes David Gale to Funding and Asset Management team
WithersRavenel’s Funding and Asset Management team is growing with the addition of a new project manager.
David Gale most recently worked with North Carolina Emergency Management as a Disaster Recovery Supervisor. He led and managed NCEM’s FEMA Public Assistance grant program with a heavy focus on funding, projects, oversight, and compliance. He also has experience working with Durham County’s Office of Emergency Services as an Emergency Management Hazardous Materials Coordinator.
His experience with project management, local and state government, and complex funding mechanisms will help our municipal clients solve problems and navigate their individual grant and loan funding journeys.
Working at WithersRavenel allows me the opportunity to take a more expansive view of local government infrastructure needs,David said. My background working with local governments in an emergency response and disaster recovery role allows me to understand firsthand the need for updated and modernized infrastructure.”
David has a Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency Management from Arizona State University and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice from Cape Fear Community College. He is a past board member on Southport’s Board of Adjustment and was also a longtime volunteer with the City’s Fire Department.
