2021 SWANA Region 6 Conference draws solid waste professionals to Virginia
Solid waste operators, local government officials, and civil engineers are congregating in the Old Dominion State to discuss important topics in solid waste management at the 2021 SWANA Region 6 Conference.
The conference, hosted by the Solid Waste Association of North America, will take place from August 24-27 at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center. Highlights of the event will include panel discussions, a young professionals event, a golf outing, and opportunities to network, learn and socialize. Come visit us at Booth 208 to find out how we’re helping the solid waste industry in Virginia, North Carolina, and throughout the Southeast.
WithersRavenel will also be hosting a breakout session during the conference. Our FAA-certified pilot Travis Howell will be presenting “Landfill Operations Wasting No Time with LiDAR & Orthos” on Thursday, August 26, at 8:00 A.M. Learn how remote sensing technology can save time, money, and frustration at your facility as you plan for the present and future of solid waste.
See you in Roanoke at the 2021 SWANA Region 6 Conference!
