WithersRavenel has been honored with a prestigious AEC marketing award for a recent campaign to drive hiring and boost employee retention.
Our firm’s “Unwrap Your Future” holiday recruitment and retention campaign drummed up increased job interest while also lifting employee engagement by aligning company culture messaging with meaningful career opportunities. We were recognized with a 2026 Zweig Group Marketing Excellence Award in the Integrated Marketing/Brand Awareness category.

Hiring over the holidays
The campaign’s purpose was two-fold. First, to drive job growth over the traditionally slower holiday season, our team paired actual employee quotes from our annual firm engagement survey with job postings on social media. Combining holiday-themed messaging with employee insights into WithersRavenel led to a greater number of applications for open positions and, ultimately, increased hiring over the same time period compared to previous years.
Second, we also used the messaging for a retention piece of the marketing initiative. The campaign included LinkedIn posts and a website article, and was buttressed by internal retention-specific messaging, such as screensavers which touted our improving employee engagement survey scores.
