Creating the Social Hub
We collaborate with agencies, owners, developers, and architects to develop comprehensive recreation centers and aquatic centers. The modern recreation center needs to enable many social, cultural, and recreational functions and activities. The programs can span from early childhood development, youth programs, adult programs, senior services, meetings, exercise, and swimming for recreation and competition.
Often, the parks department staff offices and conference facilities will be centralized in these indoor spaces as well, and sometimes a joint-use agreement with a school district or health care district is considered. Wellness clinical space, meditation/theraputic and meeting spaces can come into play as well.
The recreation specialists at WithersRavenel understand the variables and work with facilities staff to program buildings and aquatic centers to meet the specific needs of the community, and work to find grants, funding, and partnership opportunities to build the project.
