WithersRavenel has promoted Lindsey Woolridge to Director of Environmental Assessments, recognizing her continued growth as a technical professional and leader within the firm’s Environmental Practice Area.
Based at WithersRavenel’s Cary headquarters, Lindsey has been with the firm since 2017. She joined WithersRavenel as a Staff Environmental Scientist and was promoted to Due Diligence Manager in 2021. In that role, she helped lead environmental due diligence efforts and coordinate communication among clients, property owners, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Now, as Director of Environmental Assessments, Lindsey will continue to support clients as they evaluate environmental conditions, understand potential risks, and make informed decisions about properties and development opportunities.
Helping Clients Understand Environmental Risk
Lindsey’s experience is focused on ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Limited Site Assessments, Transaction Screen Assessments, and other due diligence reports that help facilitate commercial real estate transactions and development projects. Her technical background also includes FCC compliance, report writing, CAD and related programs, monitoring well installation oversight, soil and groundwater sampling, and wetland and stream delineation.
Environmental assessments can play an important role in property acquisition, site planning, redevelopment, regulatory compliance, and the broader land development process. WithersRavenel’s Environmental Assessments & Investigations services help clients understand site conditions, evaluate potential contamination concerns, and make informed decisions before, during, and after development. The team assesses soil, soil vapor, groundwater, surface water, and other potential environmental impacts, then translates findings into practical recommendations that can support project planning and next steps.
Lindsey also brings direct experience with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, which help clients identify potential environmental concerns, evaluate liability, and determine whether additional investigation is warranted. Identifying environmental conditions early can help reduce uncertainty around project schedules, costs, permitting, financing, and long-term site viability.
For Lindsey, the promotion marks another step in a career that has increasingly combined technical environmental work with team and client leadership. Her new role strengthens WithersRavenel’s ability to help developers, municipalities, property owners, lenders, attorneys, and project teams evaluate environmental risk and move forward with reliable information.
Please join us in congratulating Lindsey on her promotion to Director of Environmental Assessments!
